Register & Get Verified

Download the MyQeja app and create your agent account. You'll need to provide:

• Valid National ID or Passport
• A clear selfie for identity verification
• Your WhatsApp number for client communication
• Business name (optional but recommended)

Verification typically takes 1-2 business days. Once approved, you'll see a blue verified badge on your profile.

Create Compelling Listings

Quality listings attract more bookings. Here's how to make yours stand out:

• Photos: Upload 8-15 clear, well-lit photos. Include all rooms, bathroom, kitchen, and exterior
• Title: Be specific - "Spacious 2BR in Kilimani near Yaya Centre"
• Description: Highlight key features, nearby amenities, and unique selling points
• Pricing: Be accurate - misleading prices lead to bad reviews
• Location: Pin the exact location on the map

Respond to Bookings Quickly

When clients book a viewing, you'll receive a notification. Best practices:

• Respond within 2 hours during business hours
• Confirm the viewing time via the app
• Send a WhatsApp message with meeting point details
• If you can't make it, cancel at least 24 hours in advance

Note: Your response time affects your visibility in search results. Fast responders get more bookings!

Conduct Professional Viewings

Make a great impression during property viewings:

• Arrive 5-10 minutes early to prepare the property
• Dress professionally - first impressions matter
• Be prepared to answer questions about utilities, security, neighbors
• Give clients time to explore - don't rush them
• Be honest about any property issues
• Follow up after the viewing if they have questions

Get Paid via OTP

After the viewing, the client will share their OTP code with you. Here's the process:

• Ask the client to share their OTP after the viewing is complete
• Enter the code in your MyQeja app to confirm the viewing
• You'll receive KES 1,000 per confirmed viewing
• Payments are processed instantly to your M-Pesa

Important: Never ask for the OTP before completing the full viewing. This protects both you and the client.
